Important :
In case you are booking a departure cab, choose your pick-up
time wisely to catch your flight on time :
• Domestic
flight :- 2+2 hours (Airport Travel + Security Check-in)
• International flight :- 2+3 hours (Airport Travel + Security Check-in)
1. SpiceJet has tied up with one of its Service provider for offering an airport taxi service (“taxi service(s)”) to its passengers, to request/book cab/taxi services along with their flight bookings and even during their flight on-board, on arrival and/or on departure, through their In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) Platform - SpiceScreen accessible at www.spicescreen.com or/and www.spicescreen.com/cabs.
2. Passengers can opt for cab services on www.spicejet.com either while booking a flight ticket or through the ‘Manage Booking’ option for an existing booking. Passengers can also book cabs while on-board a flight on www.spicescreen.com or/and www.spicescreen.com/cabs.
3. Passenger availing the facility must be above 18 (eighteen) years of age.
4. Passenger must book and board the taxi as per their flight’s scheduled departure time to ensure they reach the airport within required time frame. SpiceJet does not hold any responsibility of passenger reaching the airport in required time.
5. In no event, SpiceJet shall be held liable for (including but not limited to) any cost, refund, direct/ indirect loss, damage, claims, actions, liabilities, other proceedings, etc. due to missed flight or related to anything arising out of or incidental there to due to the use of the taxi services of SpiceJet.
6. SpiceJet is only a facilitator between the passenger and cab service providers, and there shall be no liability of SpiceJet in respect to any act, omission, wilful default, misconduct, fraud and/or negligence in connection with a passenger procuring any services from the platform of SpiceJet. SpiceJet will also not be liable for any delay caused in the taxi services provided by the third party cab service provider/vendor, who shall be directly and solely responsible for the same.

8. SpiceJet reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of taxi services and/or withdraw the same anytime without giving any prior notice and/or assigning any reason.
9. Any person availing this cab/taxi services shall be deemed to have accepted all the terms and conditions.
INDEMNIFICATION: By accepting these User Terms and using the Service, passenger agrees that they shall defend, indemnify and hold SpiceJet its affiliates, their licensors, and each of its officers, directors, other users, employees, attorneys, representatives, associates and/or agents, harmless from and against any and all claims, costs, damages, losses, actions/ causes of actions and/or other proceedings, liabilities and/or expenses (including attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or in connection with:
(a) Violation or breach of any term of these User Terms or any Applicable Law or regulation, whether or not referenced herein;
(b) Violation of any rights of any third party, including the Third party service providers OR
(c) Your use or misuse of SpiceJet’s website, web application and/or Service and/or of SpiceJet’s Platform.
SERVICES:
1. Passenger will be “Eligible” to use the Services only when they fulfil the age criteria to have attained atleast 18 (eighteen) years of age.
2. SpiceJet’s taxi services allow passenger to send a request through their platform- SpiceScreen, to the driver who accepts the trip request, where after SpiceJet notifies the passenger and provides information - including Driver name, Vehicle licence number, telephone contact details of the Driver and such other details as SpiceJet may determine.
3. SpiceJet shall endeavour to make reasonable efforts to bring you into contact with the respective trip Driver or assign trip duty to another driver, subject to the availability of driver(s) in or around the concerned location at the moment of such booking/ request.
4. The provision of taxi services of SpiceJet shall, at all times, be governed by the detailed customer terms and conditions, passenger terms of carriage, etc. available on www.spicejet.com, as updated from time to time by SpiceJet.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING:
1. SpiceJet shall, upon receiving the booking request from passenger, confirm the booking as per availability of its cab service providers/ vendors, and post successful acceptance of the same, all information about the driver, including driver name, vehicle license number, driver contact details, etc., as well as booking details (pickup and drop locations and time) and total ride fees shall be informed to passenger vide an SMS and/or Email on their registered mobile number. Passenger shall check all the booking details not limited to pick up time and pick up place, and if there is any incorrect detail the same needs to be informed immediately by calling the call centre at 080-47094944.
2. Once booking is confirmed, passenger may modify their booking through the link shared in the cab confirmation SMS and/or Email message.
3. Damages/consequences for any delay that may be caused to passenger due to failure to check the confirmation SMS and/or Email message or failure to inform SpiceJet of the incorrect details immediately shall be borne by the passenger.
PAYMENT:
1. SpiceJet Taxi service providers shall charge amounts as may be published upon booking. Passenger shall be required to pay Additional Fare in case of detour, excessive traffic, diversion, Toll Charges, Municipal Taxes etc. which will form part of the receipt of the Total Ride Fee.
2. The Total Ride Fee will be collected by the Driver via cash or payable through online mode or directly through the payment link shared vide SMS from SpiceJet, by the passenger directly upon trip booking, or trip end and before de-boarding the cab. All applicable taxes in respect of the Fare, Convenience Fee, Additional Fee, cancellation fee, toll charges, etc., if any, shall be borne and payable by the passenger directly to the cab partners/service providers or to SpiceJet, as the case may be.
Passengers may cancel their booking request for SpiceJet taxi services, before the start of the trip without bearing any cancellation or waiting charges. Upon cancellation, a notification through SMS or Email will be sent to the passenger on their registered mobile number. However, the cancellation of any booking/ request by the passenger may lead to a cancellation fee levied as per the cab partners/ service providers, which shall be notified to the passenger in advance through SMS or email whenever they cancel a booking/service request.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
1. All issues, opinions, suggestions, questions and feedback while availing our Services shall be communicated to us through email address cabsupport@spicescreen.co.in
2. Reporting of any issue needs to be within 3 (three) days of the occurrence of the issue, failing which, such issue will not be addressed.
3. Any issue reported on channels other than the above may be addressed by SpiceJet only on a best-effort basis. SpiceJet takes no liability for inability to get back on other channels.
LIABILITY:
1. SpiceJet shall not be liable for flights as the service is dependent on many factors not in SpiceJet’s control. Passengers shall book their ride after taking into account the check-in time, traffic and weather conditions, political rallies, natural calamities, traffic barricades, car breakdowns and other unexpected delays, for which SpiceJet will not be liable.
2. In the event, there is a delay by the vehicle in reaching the pickup location beyond 15 (fifteen) minutes of the pickup time, SpiceJet shall only endeavour the passenger to get in touch with the Driver assigned for the ride, on Driver’s co-ordinates shared vide Email message and/or SMS.
3. Passenger shall take full responsibility of their items, baggage and luggage. In case of lost items inside the Vehicle during the journey, SpiceJet will endeavour to locate the items on a “best-effort” basis but is not responsible for the same in case of any loss or damage whatsoever to or in respect of the same. SpiceJet will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss, claims, expenses, or damage arising directly out of the taxi services, including but not limited to the passenger’s items or baggage or luggage, while availing the journey or taxi services, which shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the respective cab partner/ service provider chosen by the passenger at the time of booking request.
4. SpiceJet will not be responsible for appropriateness of mobile or email or any other communication medium. Passenger shall be responsible for immediately reporting the errors, if any, occurred in the information sent regarding booking confirmation.
5. In no event shall SpiceJet be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, exemplary and/or consequential damages and/or for any damages whatsoever, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if the passenger has been advised of the possibility thereof.
6. In addition to the above mentioned and without limiting the foregoing, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will SpiceJet’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these user terms or the services rendered hereunder, whether in contract, tort (including negligence, product liability, or other theory), warranty, or otherwise, exceed the amount of total ride value/ total transaction value for the ride.
7. SpiceJet taxi service is brought to you by SpiceJet marketplace partners including but not limited to partners listed for this service.
8. SpiceJet bears no responsibility and liability whatsoever for delays, damages, claims and/or losses suffered by or caused to any passenger as a consequence of the breakdown of the vehicle or the substitute vehicle, cancellation of a booking request, delay in pick-up/drop, and/or non-availability of a vehicle at the time of booking request, etc. It shall be the passenger’s responsibility to book and the third party cab partner’s/ service provider’s responsibility to accept the booking request, and SpiceJet shall act as a mere facilitator.
DISCLAIMER:
1. Passenger agrees that SpiceJet Taxi is merely an electronic marketplace platform to facilitate aggregation of Vehicles and does not in any manner provide transportation services.
2. SpiceJet Taxi does not endorse, advertise, advise or recommend availing the services of any driver independently.
3. SpiceJet Taxi also does not guarantee or provide assurance in respect of the behaviour, actions or data of the users posted on the Site.
4. SpiceJet Taxi and their representatives, officers, employees, agents and contractors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, expense, cost (including legal costs) or liability arising directly or indirectly from passenger’s use or non-use of the Service or the Site, or reliance upon the Service or the information contained upon the Site (whether arising from SpiceJet Taxi or any other person's negligence or otherwise).
